We are looking for a summer worker for our modern egg farm in Pörtom, Finland.
Our ladies walk and fly freely inside the barn.
Egg Packer & Farm Worker
Job Duties:
Collecting eggs
Sorting and packing eggs
Cleaning
Animal and barn care
Other farm tasks as needed
Working Hours:
Working hours vary depending on the day’s tasks, approximately 5–7.5 hours per day.
Employment may begin as early as May and continues through the summer (May–August, as agreed).
The hens live and lay eggs 7 days a week, so weekend work is required.
We are looking for someone who:
Is careful and responsible
Can work independently
Is not afraid of physical work
Enjoys working with animals and practical tasks
Is reliable, punctual and can complete tasks in time.
Has experience with machine maintenance and simple repairs
Introduction/training will be provided on site.
There is a possibility of extension.
In case of extension other agricultural experience, such as operating machinery, as well as maintenance and repair of farm equipment, is also considered an advantage.
Salary according to the collective agreement for rural industries.
The position will be filled if we find the right person for the job.
