The people of Närpes

Why is Närpes a good place to move to? The people of Närpes value equality, honesty, freedom, integrity and modesty. Here we show care for each other, we cherish other people’s rights, feelings and welfare, tolerance and solidarity. Most of the inhabitants of Närpes have Swedish as their mother tongue. The Swedish-speaking minority in Finland is considered relatively well integrated into Finnish society. The high levels of social inclusion contribute to less prejudiced attitudes towards other ethnic minorities in the region.
